About the Event
Denver Alumnae Speaker Series - Linda Holloway, Co-Founder of Bessie's Hope
Our January Guest Speaker is Linda Holloway (Gamma Iota), Co-Founder of Bessie's Hope. She will share her philanthropic vision about elder care, the work she has done to create, grow, and sustain this philanthropy for 27 years, and how they have had to adjust during the pandemic. Hear about and see photos from Linda’s “Staying Connected Initiative”, which began immediately in April, when nursing homes and assisted living went into lockdown. As a Board Certified Music Therapist, Linda will treat us to some experiential “sound” self-nurturing.
Wednesday, January 20th, 7 - 8:30 p.m. by Zoom meeting (an hour presentation followed by questions)
